Our Mission Statement
NAFE envisions a society where the human rights of all men and women are recognized and fulfilled in the hopes that everyone can participate in socioeconomic activities equally. In this vision, men and women would be partners in combating discrimination and violence against women and girls so that all members of the family are able to prosper and accomplish their goals.
Respect – We affirm the dignity, potential, and contribution of participants, donors, partners, and staff.
Integrity – We act consistently with NAFE’s mission, being honest and transparent in what we do and say. We accept responsibility for our collective and individual actions.
Commitment – We maintain our dedication to serving a large community through our partnership with community-based organizations.
Excellence – We constantly challenge our ourselves to the highest levels of learning and performance to achieve a greater impact.
- Ensure women and youth have the opportunity to grow socially, politically, and economically.
- Introduce amendments targeting discriminatory laws, policies, and legislation to ensure the protection of women’s rights on the national level.
- Coordinate with partner civil society organizations to end gender-based violence, and strengthen the status of women at all levels.
NAFE plans to implement a highly community-based participatory and inclusive approach in the implementation of this action to increase engagement of women-led CBOs in the three intervention governorates, increase their meaningful participation in the decision making processes, and for effective implementation of JONAP and WPS agenda in Jordan.
